Glad to have you here! A little about me:
My name is Laura and I am the owner and lead florist behind Heirloom Florals, which I started back in 2017. Growing up in the beautiful Fraser Valley, I spent many hours outside, often in my father’s garden. I’m a naturally tactile person and have always gravitated towards working with my hands. Enter learning about floral design - it was the perfect match! Floral design has felt like a natural step in expressing my creativity.
I am hugely inspired by colour theory, fashion, travel, film photography, and natural textures. I enjoy traveling around the globe and, when abroad, can always be found at the flower markets and botanical gardens soaking up inspiration.
As this business closes its sixth season, we’ve had the pleasure of bringing colour and life to over 275 events. I’ve loved meeting all the unique clients I get to work with! It is important to me to work with high quality, unique ingredients that tell the story of each individual client - and hearing these vibrant stories in early meetings and along the process are a highlight of this work.
I believe that everyone should experience the gift of lush, personally crafted florals and it is my privilege to deliver this gift! Good florals will enhance and enrich any significant event.
